Yoshihiro Ito successfully defended his thesis, moving him closer to completing his PhD. Yoshi is mentored by Dr. Thomas Diekwisch of the Department of Oral Biology. His thesis is titled “CP27: Expression, Regulation, and Function of a Chromatin Complex Member.” In addition to Dr. Diekwisch, Dr. Xianghong Luan, Dr. David Crowe, Dr. Alison Doubleday (all faculty at the College of Dentistry) and Dr. Michel Allen of the University of Chicago served as committee members.
